About design

LITTLE BREEZE is a little kerchief that can be worn in multiple ways. The scarf is worked back and forth. The size can easily be modified by adding more pattern repeats for a longer scarf. It is a perfect gift!

LITTLE BREEZE was designed with those odd balls and leftover skeins of fingering weight yarn and mohair we all have in our stashes, but it can also be worked in a single strand of DK weight yarn.

MATERIAL

1 strand of Knitting for Olive Merino (250m) 1 ball held together with 1 strand of Knitting for Olive Soft Silk Mohair (225m) 1 ball. Sample in Merino Oatmeal colorway and Soft Silk Mohair Marzipan or Merino cream + Soft silk mohair cream

Circular needle 4 mm with a cable >60cm

1 sewing needle

2 markers

The little scarf measures approximately 120cm in length and width 10cm. These dimensions are given after blocking.

Motif stitches are charted only (with written instructions to start first rows of each section).

Gauge

24 sts and 28 rounds of lace pattern (needle 4mm) after blocking.
