Martha shawl - Eng

MARTHA SHAWL has a triangular shape and is worked from the tip to the ribbed edge. One side of the shawl features an original cable pattern with interesting lace motif, while the other side is comforting and meditative garter stitch which makes the shawl squishy and warm.

The size of the shawl is easily modified. Just keep adding more rows for a bigger version.

MATERIAL

1 strand of Knitting for Olive Merino (250m) 4 balls held together with 1 strand of Knitting for Olive Soft Silk Mohair (225m) 4 balls. Sample in Merino Powder colorway and Soft Silk Mohair Cloud colorway

Circular needle 4 mm with a cable of at least 80cm

1 sewing needle

1 cable needle

some markers if you need to separate your work for each motif

Infos

The shawl measures approximately 165cm in length and wingspan 190cm. These dimensions are given after blocking.

Motif stitches are charted only (with written instructions to start first rows of each section).

Gauge

24 sts and 24 rounds of cable/ lace pattern (needle 4mm) after blocking
